Windows Mobile™ Compass ™ is sold $24.95 via our buy on line Windows Mobile™ Tracker™ is sold $49.95 via our buy on line Downloadable and Backup CD versions available. Prior to purchase GPS Pilot software, install it on your device and start it. The about box, appears and displays your device id, called clid. You need to enter this id during the purchase process. Then, once your order placed, you will immediately receive a confirmation mail of your purchase with a registration code corresponding to your clid. Maps views support: The Magnifier view is obsolete : there is no more view dedicated to display the most detailed map of the current area. Indeed the 2 views are now user defined, and via the Preferences option auto-zoom, each view can be activated to display automatically the most detailed view of the current area On-line maps support:
SwissGeo plug-in allows to access SwissGeo portal from any GPS Pilot applications. SwissGeo topographical maps coverage is dedicated to Switzerland - 10/10000 to 1000/10000 scale- and Europe - 100/10000 scale- Subscription to SwissGeo license and plug-in can be done for 8 Swiss Francs per month, register here Once the subscription
is done, you are able to download SwissGeo on-line maps into your PDA.
To request SwissGeo maps, specify the map area you wish to request by entering a new address (via POI interface), focus on a POI, or locate the area by centering an existing map on it. Then apply menu Maps-SwissGeo and select the scale of the requested maps by selecting the correct level, and apply the ok button to start the on line demand.
Aeroplanner plug-in allows to access Aeroplanner portal from any GPS Pilot applications. Aeroplanner

is done, you are able to download Aeroplanner on-line maps into your PDA.
To request Aeroplanner maps, specify the map area you wish to request by entering a new address (via POI interface), focus on a POI, or locate the area by centering an existing map on it and define the map's scale: zoom in/out to obtain the right scale factor. Then apply menu option Maps-Aeroplanner. Aeroplanner full route option redesigned: The full route check box is only useful for the Flying or Tracking module:
Tracking:
The export function converts and saves the current tracks log in the <trackslog_name.csv> ASCII file as described below. Apply the menu bar option Log-Export and the tracks file of your current log will be automatically created and stored on external memory under the /GPSpilot/Tracks/ directory The import function allows to concatenate any imported track logs to the current log. The list of imported tracks must be in the same ASCII format as described below and must be stored on external memory under the /GPSpilot/Tracks/ directory as well. Apply the menu bar option Log-Import and select the tracks file name you want to transfer your current track.
If you are going for a long journey, and do not care to see your track drawn as you travel. You can preserves your PDA batteries while tracking: shut off your PDA while a GPS tracking session is running and your PDA will be automatically woke up at record precision intervals to record current position. Beware that the PDA is shut down when Tracker is still running. POIs support:
The import function allows add, directly on your PDA, POIs described in an ASCII format in POIs databases. The POIs must be in the same ASCII format as described below and must be stored on external memory under the /GPSpilot/Points/ directory. POIs file format Each line describes a track point record following this format : Lat, Long, Alt, Variation, Date and Time where Lat is the Latitude of the track point in degrees with decimals format : dd.ddddd Long is the Latitude of the track point in degrees with decimals format : dd.ddddd Alt is the Altitude described in feet or meters Variation is the magnetic
variation degrees, positive for East negative for West. North / East is
positive, South / West is negative Now, tracks Points from Tracker or TripPilot can be exported using the export function and be reused as regular POIs in any GPS Pilot application. Other:
