Vicinity Maps and Itineraries Service Has Been Discontinued.

 

We are sorry to inform you that the Vicinity service is no longer available from GPS Pilot software.

As you may know, Vicinity is now a subsidiary of Microsoft and part of the MapPoint Business Unit.
Due to lack of flexibility, and excessive cost requested by Microsoft MapPoint.net for their on-line maps and itineraries download services, GPS Pilot company regrets to inform GPS Pilot users that live and direct access from your PDA to on-line MapPoint repository data can not be maintained.

We will still do our best to offer you the best navigation solution and are seeking for new cartography portals to re-start as soon as possible the on-line maps and itineraries live services.
